Masjid al-Aqsa is the place where Prophet Muhammad was taken from Mecca to Jerusalem and from there he ascended to the sky for the Miraj. According to Islamic tradition, Miraj occurs with the permission of Allah. It is the journey of Muhammad from Masjid al-Haram to Masjid al-Aqsa and from there to the sky at night. Miraj is considered one of the greatest miracles of our Prophet. In this context, Surah Mu'minun Verse 97-98 deal with the attitude of those who deny the miracles of the Prophet, and also reveals the miracle of Muhammad's ascension in a reminiscent way.
